Managing companies

Group users into companies and control their access.

If your tenant serves multiple customers or business units, you can organize users into companies. Each company has its own members, branding, and access settings, but they all live under your single tenant.

What companies control

  • Which users are grouped together for billing and reporting.
  • Optional company-specific branding (logo, colors).
  • Default access: what content new members of that company can see.

Common tasks

  • Create a company. Click Add company and fill in the basics.
  • Invite users to a company. Open a company and click Invite users. Type or paste multiple emails at once, pick the package everyone in the batch receives, and choose whether to email them an invite link. See Managing invitations.
  • Move users in. From a user's detail page, set their company.
  • Pause a company. Use the company menu to suspend access for everyone in it without deleting them.

AI credits

A company's detail page has the same two credit actions a user's does, applied to the company as a whole.

  • Grant AI credits. Enter an amount and an optional reason. The credits leave your tenant's pool and become a shared balance for the company.
  • Reclaim AI credits. Returns credits from the company to the pool.

Granting to a company is the quicker path when everyone in it should draw from one balance. Granting to users one at a time is for exceptions.
