A content builder for collections
Build a shelf of content in the admin panel, instead of asking Fuel to build it for you.
Once organizations had spaces of their own, the next question was obvious: who arranges the content in them. Courses and lessons were already yours to manage. The shelves they sat on were not, so any request to group things differently, run a featured set for a quarter, or put an onboarding path together came back to Fuel.
Collections are now built in the admin panel. Create one, add courses to it, and nest it under a parent so a broad shelf can hold narrower ones without turning into a flat list of everything. Collections sit under Courses as a view toggle rather than as a separate section, which is a small decision with a large effect: the thing you are arranging and the things you are arranging are one click apart instead of two areas that drift out of agreement.
The media library grew up alongside it. Uploads run in the background, so you can queue several files and keep working, and the list sorts by status or by what changed last rather than by whatever order things arrived in. Course and lesson editors gained draft and published states with readiness badges that name what is still missing, which turns publishing from an act of memory into a check you can read.
